I agree that the wipes for surfaces might be a waste, but having some means of cleaning your hands after touching items like gas pump handles, shopping carts, door handles, and any other surface that is touched by a lot of people makes sense.  If you can go and wash your hands a good solutions seems to be using wipes of some kind.  Even standard baby wipes that have no anti-bacterial chemicals will at least help physically removed the bacteria on your hands if you vigorously wipe your hands.

As for counter tops, try vinegar or just plain soap and water.  Using fewer chemicals seems like a reasonable approach to maintaining cleanliness but staying healthy.

What to do

Save Yourself and your Country:  Don't waste time learning a foreign language based on deception as a virtue as some so called forward thinking money types have chosen to do for their children.   They have chosen to practice kowtowing and kneeling rather than defending.  Instead, focus on what has worked for Western Culture and the English language that has recently come to dominate it.

First: Build your local community into something better and work to influencing those around you to see the threat of this global menace.

Second: Work toward self protection of your assets and avoid supporting anything that will strengthen our enemies.

Example:  I won't buy food from China whether just processed or actually grown in the human waste fertilizer of an alien land.  Choose carefully where you send you money in the form of purchases.

Finally:  Realize we are again in a struggle against a ruthless adversary that pretends at only economic interest but will become more belligerent as their power increases.  Look at how they treat their own to understand that you will be treated as chattel or worse if they win the contest.

A good way to do weak hand training is to do many trigger pulls every day.  Dry fire, dry fire, and then add BB gun training.  Live fire comes last.

Practice drawing your pistol, unloaded, or a bb pistol from the strong hand holster position.  You'll find that the 4 or 5  O'clock position works best for this if you are right handed.  Reverse that for lefties.

I came to the same conclusion as the writer of the article linked above that the recoil for me and most people I know is too much in a handgun to control it well.  As for a carbine, yes it works fine but so does the 9mm at much less cost.  I don't think the .40 will disappear but it is instructive that many agencies are going back to the 9mm with the advent of high performance ammunition that negates the difference in effectiveness of the .40.  As for payload, it is simply easier to send more rounds to the target within a period of time with the 9 versus the .40 S&W.

I was never a big fan of the .40 for the recoil reasons described above and the cost to practice.

If you are choosing a handgun now and want a pistol the 9mm is the best way to go for most, and for concealment even a .380 will do the job.

1911 - Should everyone own one?

I agree that they are nice to own and practice with but for every day carry I think they are too big and heavy, simple as that.  I have a friend who was a 1911 fanatic and even he said it wore him out to the point where he stepped down to a Makarov, and don't laugh because the Mak is reliable and accurate.  The Mak is still too heavy for the round in my opinion but he at least decided that the 1911 was too much.

As it goes the .45 is a good round but it is expensive to shoot unless you reload.  You would do better to look at a more compact and lower recoiling 9mm.

We hear an endless stream of these predictions.  It is hard to say if or when it may happen.   The  best way to cope with the risk is to limit it by taking a small position in gold or silver.  Having some on hand is great and if you want to roll the dice there are always mining stocks.  I've personally never done well with the stocks, but I still consider a 5% position something I can use to protect my standard investments.  Metal you have at home of course is the safest of all when it comes to protecting yourself against inflation.  As for a full collapse, it is still best to start with no debt, land and a home with no mortgage, food, water, other supplies, and a means of earning an income.
