The threats of Journalists to various conservative groups is totally ignored as they label individuals and groups racist and therefore give wingnuts out there justification for attacking them.  This is much more prevalent and insidious than any words the President has uttered.  The war for truth is on and the MSM led by fading papers like the WAPO and NYT cannot stand to be argued with since they have always been able to set the left wing agenda using skillful manipulation,  misrepresentation, and political bias to choose and taint stories.
