Spending us broke and  losing our sovereignty 

This is apparently part of the board game played by our elites.  How can they most effectively eviscerate the American culture in the shortest period of time.  First it requires maintaining open borders with a periodic show of effort to keep the working and out of work masses calmed down.  At the same time they diligently work to flood the country with as many foreign born invaders that they can find.

One study suggests the cost of the amnesty bill from the senate will cost only 6.3 trillion.  This is probably one third the cost and if you consider the long term decline of the work ethic and increased crime they will bring us it may spell the doom of country as most of us have known it.  Whatever numbers you hear I suggest you triple, quadruple, or just multiply times ten and you'll be closer toward the truth of the matter.

Erasure of the borders will be the outcome. 
This will cause an effective merger of Mexico and the USA.  The voting power of the left and socialist Democrat base will become unbeatable and over time we'll look more like a South American country in both corruption and cultural mores.  It is happening already but this would likely seal the deal.

How to Prepare:  Learn Spanish.  I suggest this for a number of reasons.  

Tactical benefit: I once participated in war games with Spanish speaking opponents and found it very disconcerting to not be able to know their communications when they were yelling to each other where I could overhear them.  So as a practical matter it may save your life.  You might also understand a conversation that is deciding your fate as two or more aggressors discuss what to do with you.

Economic survival: You may not be able to continue business or work without some ability to conform and negotiate with the new majority forming as we speak.

Cultural assimilation:  When the numbers get too big we will be the ones that will have to assimilate.  Adding a Hispanic surname extension can help you but not if you can't speak the primary language of your masters.  Have no doubt that your masters are always those with the most votes so it may be emotionally unacceptable to think this way, but face reality and have your options in place.

Two decades ago this could have been seen as a tongue in cheek analysis of what you might be facing but the reality is that numbers are destiny and over time we are losing the numbers game.  Unless something changes drastically you can expect that areas of the country will be primarily Spanish speaking and English will be seen as undesirable or foreign.  Speaking Spanish may save you from a severe beating at a minimum.

Become an Illegal and Reap the Rewards

Finally, as the balance shifts it may be advantageous for citizens to pretend to be illegals so that they can get the most benefits.  If you are a citizen the problem is that you are much lower on the list for freebies.   Of course doing that would be illegal and probably would get you facing much more jail time and prosecution than the simple act of truly being an illegal alien since there is virtually no punishment for that right now.  Disclaimer:  I do not actually suggest taking this approach and in fact recommend against it since it could get you incarcerated and probably financially ruined.  It is a sad testament to our current state of political affairs that as a citizen you face a greater risk of legal penalties for pretending to be an illegal than  an actual illegal alien might face by invading the country and stealing jobs, services, and benefits.
