Feds Go Berzerk Over 3D Gun

It would be comical if it weren't so obvious that the Feds are really in the business of control of the firepower.  They don't even want you to own a single shot pistol that you could make yourself by using a 3D printer.  Make no mistake - this is all about control.

This would be laughable were it not about banning information.

Not that most of us need this since we already have much more useful guns but the point is that if they think we believe that this will somehow prevent a crime they are really out there in their fantasies.  First off, how much damage can this gun do over what some worthless punks from Third-world-Istan were able to do with pressure cookers and fireworks.  I bet we don't stop importing our enemies to do damage to our citizens.  Meanwhile, we have to stop publishing files that might allow said terrorists the ability to make a one shot pistol.  

At least some in the media recognize that this is ridiculous and the fears are overblown.
