Force Multiplier - Snipers

Here is the story of a British sniper in Afghanistan that used one bullet to take out six Taliban.   The point is this.  Unless you have overwhelming force it is best to focus on ways to avoid direct confrontation in close combat and instead work toward disabling and distracting actions to attrit your opponents with minimal risk to yourself.  In this case the sniper found a way to use the enemy's equipment against them which is this case turned out to be a wonderful target of opportunity.  He turned the weapon the tallies were going to use for terror into a meat tenderizer.  Good show ole chap.

Think about down the road where you may have to defend your town, neighborhood, or maybe your home.  There will likely be no medics or ambulance service so a distant stand off defense is a much better choice than Close Quarter Battle.  Leave that up to the young Rambo types.
