What You Should Consider:  Imagine yourself in old age relatively helpless and then having to worry about such things.  This is why you should look at the demographics of where you live and pick a community environment that supports mutual protection and safety.  55 and over communities do have this going for them.  A rural location also adds to the safety factor since as you can see a place like Manhattan supports all kinds of low life filth.  My guess is the fine young man also gets free government support as a welcomed arrival and member of the Socialist Free Stuff Army.

Live and let live but find a place that lets you do the same.  This is part of long term survival planning.
