What to do:  Don't identify yourself as part of any group other than a low profile harmless prole (pliant subject).

Government Constraints Increase:  Examples include red flag laws that can easily be used to disarm and destroy people as they have already done without due process.  Even speaking incorrectly can be enough to have you incarcerated, removed from your job, destroy your business, or to get the ire of government focused on you.  

What to do: Limit your words, actions, and associations to those that tag you only as a mute citizen (pliant subject).  Any words or actions that speak trouble maker will bring you trouble.

People are acting less civil:   You can see this in daily transactions and in your movement about town. Population density usually increases this so if you''re in a high population area you'll be at greater risk.   Crime increases will also indicate that overall respect for a civil society is slipping and especially when the government, judges, and juries allow dangerous criminals to walk.  Property crimes are almost ignored as they have now started in places like Baltimore and other major cities.

What to do:  Bail out of the area you're in before the problems become deadly and settle in an area where the people speak the same language, have similar beliefs, and dare i say it, look and dress like you.  This can give you some safety that can't be expected if you're a strange person in a strange land.  To put it simply, live in a place that supports your values.   The fastest way to get some level of safety in a new location is to join a church and get involved in civic activities.  Become a known safe quantity in your new location.  Become an asset rather than a question mark.

What to do:  I would say vote out the people that appoint these lawbreaking prosecutors but the whole states where these antics are in play are now populated by the blue pill crowd who hates their own culture and seems intent on self immolation.

What to really do:  Live you life in a place that affords you a quality of life consistent with the old days and if that means moving to a jurisdiction that is old style then do so.  You'll be better off.

Knowing that illegals have a get out of jail free card you should treat them as potential aggressors and keep your distance and avoid confrontations.  They will get the benefit of the doubt while you may end up behind bars.  Such is the case in a declining society.

What to do: How to Defend Yourself.

• Get a dog or an alarm.  You need to be alerted before you wake up looking at an axe handle. 

• Get a gun.  Nothing works better for stopping a home invasion than having the ability and willingness to apply lethal force if necessary.

• Get Trained.  Practice your method.  If you rely on a handgun then spend time familiarizing yourself with the operation and practice shooting it.

  Make your home less appealing for invasion   

  The Five  Ls

  Locks - Bulk up your locks.  Deadbolts require them more time to get in giving you time to react and call authorities.
  

  Lights - Motion sensing lights, perimeter lighting, indoor lighting.  You can spend very little on electricity by using LED lighting.

  Landscaping - thorny bushes,   open wide spaces around the house and few hiding spots.

  Lettering -  ( Alarm Monitoring Signs) even if you don't have an alarm.  No trespassing signs if allowed in your subdivision.  Neighborhood watch stickers and signs.  Video monitoring signs.

  Look - How appealing your home is for invasion often is the apparent value of goods to be found.  Someone living in a rotted out trailer has less to offer a home invader than someone with new cars in the driveway of an immaculate and expensive home in a remote location.

I have known people that are close to this phase of paranoia but I also know many who are level headed types that won't talk on the phone about many subjects because they assume we are being recorded and later might have those conversations used against us.  I tend not to worry about such things, but admit that the daily news coming out on privacy and governmental intrusion makes a good case for some level of paranoia.  The daily news can't be helping marginal individuals.

What is there to say about this story but is it worth it to stop and help anyone.  At this point I'll probably just call for emergency assistance unless I am armed.  It is a sad testament of the type of humanity out there that a driver in trouble would choose to kill someone that stopped to help them.

Advice:  Be circumspect when you see a situation where someone is not in immediate danger or undergoing trauma.  Many times I have not stopped for people in a disabled car simply because I didn't want them to fear that I was a threat, so instead I would call in their location and apparent situation after passing them and seeing that they were okay.
