We all know that it must happen eventually so it's all about timing and events to precipitate it.  China is setting itself up to be safe from much of it based on their Gold purchases and so is Russia.  Countries like Germany and France have repatriated their Gold from the USA vaults so that should tell you something.  The power brokers know what is coming and are protecting themselves and will again leave the rest of us holding the bag so to speak, and in this case the bag will probably be filled with manure.

What to do:  Get Hard Assets, add physical survival preparations like water, food, and shelter that you can't be evicted from due to non payment of rent or mortgage even if it means a travel trailer on a piece of junk land.  Own your vehicle no matter how old rather than make payments that you can no longer make.  Develop lots of friends in your community to network with in the event of such a disaster as a currency default.  The the thing to be sure of is to not be surprised if and when it happens.

Why Americans can't expect a comfortable retirement anymore

It comes down to lies, greed, and a broken social contract.  While our politicians sit idly back and do nothing but collect payments from the thieves at the top many Americans are struggling and must work until their last days.  Meanwhile, refugees are given free housing, free medical, free food, and cash.  Oh, add free education for their kids too or for their college while Americans have to pay for their own by going into debt.

American Veterans are treated worse than illegals by far since they rarely can qualify for the list of free goodies that come with just showing up.

If you want to safe and not to mention comfortable retirement I suggest you plan for taking care of yourself which includes savings, investing, paying off your home, and getting rid of all debt before you retire.  Find a way to insure that you'll have most of your medical costs covered but don't rely on promises from corporate plans since they will often gut the plans to fill their own pockets.

This is a good instruction on making your own.  I learned it as a kid but of course haven't found the need or desire to make it since then.  The idea that you can hold the precursor components and make it as needed seems nice, but in truth I'd rather store reloading components and develop that skill.

Buy second hand or re-purpose items such as clothing.  Buy at online auction sites, gun shows, flea markets, and dollar type stores for simple items like chemical light sticks.  You can often find these things for one third the price at a discount location.

The elements are in place for a Black Swan event.  We have stretched out the recession by endless low or no cost money added to the money supply so that stocks are soaring, though this is now predictably becoming erratic in preparation for a rout that has become mainstream so you can expect it soon enough.  When, who knows, and if I did I'd have a huge pile of money instead of a moderate amount I worry about disappearing into the steam of a bank bail in if we have a Greek Style money event.  But I ramble on.  We've all heard this before and who knows for sure what is ahead.  One thing you can absolutely count on is that your money if you have any will be worth less next year than it was this year since inflation is ongoing and hidden from view unless of course you buy food, vehicles, energy, and anything that requires labor to create or accomplish.

Crime, Bio-war, and Terrorism

You can't make this stuff up and don't need to since it is right in your face.  We have an Administration that has opened the floodgates for anyone anywhere in the world who can make it here any way they can is likely to be able to stay and collect benefits.  Were that the only problem associated with open borders, well we might be able to cope with it at least temporarily until we wait out the vermin in charge of this disaster.

If you need a pretext to justify total control over a society what better way than to import insane believers of a creed that thinks beheading, rape, and deceit are all fine ways to live.  Once you have these dangerous elements in your country you of course will have counter reprisals from citizens and this will justify attacking and controlling the citizenry more so than even the original offenders, the terrorists.  If you need an example of this just look at Germany where so called Ultra right wing groups  are attacked by the police and they are classified at extremists simply because they like the country the way it was before bringing in monsters that hate everything Germany stands for but said monsters want the free stuff.

We are seeing many moves in this direction where criminalizing political speech is current around the world, and is becoming an issue here in the USA.  The ultra left is working on it.   When the first American city goes up in flames through riots or a nuclear event that will be all the Federal forces need to drop the hammer on freedom of movement and all other things we are used to believing is normal.  All of this is courtesy of open borders and multiculturalism brought to you by our media masters in charge and the ultra left intent on destroying the USA.

How can you take a country from the top tier of economic performance and quality of life and reduce it to a third world pauper with the accompanying unrest.  One good way is to flood the country with near voting age and military age young men and women who do not share the values of the new host country.   Deportations plummet.

Not Children 

They call them children but these children are close to combat age and they are eligible for benefits that exceed those earned by retirees on social security.  The last fact alone should be good cause for unrest, but the leaders also know that they can find a complicit media that will avoid reporting these facts.

Net Effect 

The overall net effect of this operation is going to be a loss of culture and one that more closely resembles that of the country these future voters came from.  If you want a clear example just look to California where a huge percentage of the population is not native or from the previous dominant white culture.  It has become a socialist paradise complete with severe spending versus revenue problems.  The tax rates in CA are now high enough that many high income working people are leaving if they can, and the state takes a cut even after you leave unless you can prove you've fully left the state. 

Replace the Citizens with Pliant Supplicants

With the Calif. model you can see that the chance of a conservative free market Republican winning any state wide or national office have just about disappeared.  This happened only a short 40 years since an amnesty for illegals and an ongoing flood of anchor babies becoming voting age foreign voters with an American citizenship.

Latino Protestors threaten Americans

Here you have citizens who are faced with threats by simply exercising their right to assemble and perform a civic duty.  They are threatened by non-citizens and those fronting for them.  In the end this may work against the protestors but it also shows how brazen they have become as their numbers have increased.  Expect more violence and more intimidation by these groups intent on taking what they perceive as their right to retake America.

What can you do.

Vote to keep your conscience clear so you at least have tried the right way, the civil way to move the country in the right direction.  Knowing that this won't really likely protect you from what is coming do the smart thing and hedge your bets.

Get out of Dodge while you still can.  This simply means relocating to a place where a less dense population exists so that you won't have to run if things cut loose.  One option is a Bug Out Planet.  Just kidding.

Put away food.  Use common sense and put away as much short term, medium term, and long term storage food as you can.  Learn to grow food as a survival skill.

Protect your water supply.  Have a well, have a cistern, and have stored water along with top notch filtration.

Store money in the form of precious metals and other hard assets such as arable land, guns, ammo, vehicles, and solar capability.

Train for your life.  Condition yourself for foot travel with cargo on your back.  Train in armed self defense, stick training,  and if you are fit unarmed self defense.

Stay informed.  Follow infowars, drudge, foreign press, various survival blogs, financial news.
