Fake News: Is Russia a Threat to the USA and the West

If you listened to the Democrat Leaders in the USA including BHO, HRC, and the minions that tried to blame the election, email hacks, and anything else they could on the Russians you'd think that there would be some proof.  Sadly, they said and did all of this with nothing but suppositions and innuendo.

Now we get to the threat.  Our threat from Russia couldn't be worse than it was in the distant past during the Cold War.  Thanks to major blunders and missteps by Democrat leaders we have repeatedly shown Russia that we consider them a lesser partner on the world stage and have disregarded their interests even when our own interests were better served by leaving things alone.

Examples abound, but two come to mind.

Serbia

Back when Bill Clinton was President he made the decision to attack a Christian country that had historic allied ties to the Russians in order to serve the needs of Muslim inhabitants of Kosovo in Serbia.  If you remember this they called them ethnic Albanians as in they were from Albania, a neighboring country.  Despite strong protest from Russia we went ahead and started an air war against Serbia and Clinton succeeded in poisoning relations from Russia that had been seen as very good following the collapse of the Soviet Union.  This was an unnecessary act of aggression against an ally of Russia for what we now know was a media hype story of genocide.  The actual purpose of the war was to distract the citizens of the USA from Monica-gate or Cigar-gate depending on your sense of humor.

Syria

Now we come to Barak Hussein Obama.  He seems to find special pleasure in irritating the Russians and again has found a way to go against American interests and Russian interests at the same time by his Syrian adventures.  Rather than allowing the Russians to hammer ISIS and even assist them he has focused on taking out the leadership of Syria that poses no threat to America or to the Middle East stability.  If anything, the take down of governments in the Arab Spring has unleashed hell on the populations there by enabling ISIS.  History will probably show that our president was working for the other side in this whole process.

Threat Level

The weakness and fecklessness of BHO has opened the door to aggression, disdain, and disputes from all sides including the Chinese, Iranians, and even the Philippines, one of our allies.  At the moment I think Putin has shown great restraint.  Now with the possibility of a more rational stance from the U.S. as an American becomes president to replace an Internationalist/Globalist we'll see if this eases tensions.  One can hope.

If you listened to the crazy left in the USA and the media here you'll assume anything they say is news and anything not approved by them is  just fake news put forth by Nationalists.  If you've read this site over the past few years you'd know that I make few comments on the Russians since they in General are not our biggest threat and have left us alone when we left them alone.  We are the ones surrounding their territory with military bases and not the other way around.   Hopefully, with Trump gaining the White House the tensions will ease and sanity will prevail.  The last thing the U.S. needs is trouble with Russia especially when it is not necessary.

It seems they are still on the bandwagon for pushing the narrative but realize it has backfired.  The election proved that the mainstream media outlets are riddled with fake news all there to push an agenda.
