Poor planning, a broken economy, and a mindset that votes in leftists repeatedly is what gets you in a place where you can't even think ahead to plan for catastrophe.

While we have sympathy for those in Puerto Rico I note that as voters now flooding into Florida they will likely vote in far left candidates that will help bring to the US mainland economy what has made Puerto Rico so vulnerable and that is mountains of debt and no beliefs except government is the source of salvation.
