Wife, Husband, and 3 kids- Traumatized

Described by the wife as a Kafkaesque situation most of us can imagine it as even worse than that.  She says she was defiled in addition to the terrible treatment.

A few questions here that I would like to ask them that they might ask themselves. 

What prompted you to go backpacking in Afghanistan knowing that it was a hotbed of groups hostile to Westerners?

Would you believe again whatever foolish ideas that you may have had  that prompted your desire to journey in a place likely to bring you sorrow?

Are you up for another hiking adventure, maybe this time in Syria or Libya?

Bottom Line:  Don't go backpacking in areas that are so hazardous and don't stroll through the streets of Chicago and Baltimore thinking you are safe.
