This tells you if nothing else to be cautious about things like packages that arrive you didn't order.  Don't open them first off.  Second, it's probably wise not to even touch them so if you are faced with such a situation it might be best to leave it alone altogether and call authorities.

This reminds me of the risk now almost twenty years ago when people started receiving white powder in the mail.  I hated even going into the post office at the time and I could see the postal workers were scared.  What this shows among everything else is that our life is fragile and can be disrupted by events out of our control and often caused by one deranged person.

Back when the Beltway shooters were running around the D.C. region and shooting people randomly we all ducked our heads whenever pumping gas and looked around for white trucks.  It turns out that the actual shooters were driving a sedan so all the hysteria was focused in the wrong direction.

Answer to all of this.  Enjoy each day and be thankful when it is peaceful and pleasant.
