Gauging the Intelligence of your Foe or Friends

According to this article it is possible to judge the intelligence of an individual by their looks if they are men.  Women on the other hand are hard to judge by men simply because men lose focus on their face and inspect other elements of their subject not related to intelligence, always since this is hard wired.

This may be a function of what is called thin slicing where acquired knowledge of characteristics of a area of knowledge can be refined down into a few simple elements that eventually make a quick decision possible.
