Shortage - not in supply but in function. Most of the antibiotics that are out are over time going to become useless against resistant bacteria. Unfortunately, this report mentions that the ones that are being developed are just versions of those already out. We seem to be headed for a pre-antibiotic existence within a decade where even a scratch or a minor surgery could be fatal.
What to do as a survival plan:
Natural options such as herbal treatments and oils seem to be a fallback as we slide back into the abyss of no protection against resistant strains. Do what you can to maintain your health as well as your resistance to disease may be your best protection.
