You need to know the risks of where you live.  If you're in Texas then add Africanized honey bees to your list of major threats that include fire ants, and poisonous snakes.  Then of course the main risk is the two legged one either with intention to do harm or by accident such as when traveling in a vehicle.  You still have the biggest threat to your health right there in your car when you go somewhere.
