A few points here might be worth noticing when you look at an article to see if it has a tinge or maybe a dollop of bias that might then constitute fake news.

"Refused to directly answer," might be because such an outrageous question has no justification for even saying yes or no sorta like have you stopped beating your wife.  No reporter from that publication or any other would have asked that of a leftist politician.  This is the nature of party aligned reporting that no longer uses facts.

The question has hovered over this president because a fraudulently created dossier was the only basis for an independent counsel and once started it is nearly impossible to stop one until the damage has served the objective which in this case is to justify impeachment.

Hush payments aren't illegal since they are legal contracts for purchasing silence.  When you read or hear the word scheme used it is always to denigrate and never to clarify something.   Were these payments illegal there would be many congressman going to jail for using public money to silence those that claimed sexual harassment in both houses of congress. 

Any time to read a poll in an article to justify an argument against a politician you have only learned what the personal opinion is of the writer of the article since most polls are bogus including the numbers on the one regarding who wants a border wall.   I've seen numerous others that suggest the opposite so it depends on whether you poll New Yorkers or Texans.

As for affinity for Putin it's funny that the so called paper of record never noticed the affinity a previous president had for the Iranians, so much so that they were given cash on pallets just to strike a bad deal.

At some point it's not worth even reading some of the  sources FAKE NEWS because that seems to be all they publish.
