.22 ammo shortage update 7/3/17

York Gun Show, York PA
Ammo was readily available in general and .22 CCI mini mag 100 round boxes were 7.95 each and many went unsold.  8 cents per round for CCI mini mags is not only a good price but it is also appears to be the baseline standard for .22 nowadays.  Lots of .22 available around the show.  PA is well stocked.

Maryland - gun shop pricing is 8 cents per round for Federal lead tip but deals on CCI bulk can be had for the same price per round or slightly higher.   Wally world has none ever.  If it comes in it goes out fast since everyone I spoke to hasn't seen it there in years.  Federal solid tip non-jacketed bulk packs 325 rounds  for 19.99 = 6 cents per round.

Delaware - Wally World Stores never have .22 in stock.  It may come in but it disappears  immediately with the professional buyers showing up to buy and resell or hoard.  Gun shops have it in stock at 10 cents per round.

Virginia - available at guns shops.  No reports on Wally world.

North Carolina - Beach areas - readily available at guns shops with pricing close to $10 per 100 for CCI mini mags.

Arizona - available at gun shops, Tucson no availability problem according to a report from someone that lives there.

Texas - no reports problems.

Oklahoma - no reports of problems.

New Mexico - no reports of problems.
