Pandemic Update: Bacteria and Viruses Falling From Sky, Flu Season Getting Worse

I'd be concerned if they were provably resistant to UV from the sun and had no lifespan.  Bacteria may have that and I have heard that viruses can last up to 2 weeks or more.
