Widely Respected = Hasn't been caught yet, plays ball, has built up political capital, helps protect the status quo.
Straight Shooter = Careerist, does what he's told, good at dotting the i and crossing the t in a good fake investigation, avoids all conflict by pretending to be square and boring and says stupid things to seem innocent like "Lordy" "Golly Gee Whiz."
Plain Speaking = steps on no toes that matter, pretends at following rules, embellish narratives with bald faced lies and distortions but comes off as reasonable and even toned.
Hard Truths = Hard to swallow truths but spoken reasonably.
Career Employee = Careerist, deep state minion.
