Even those professing peace have a right to self defense and in self determination.  When faced with eradication of their culture and beliefs, destruction of historical religious artifacts, and eventual displacement it appears even those known generally as peaceful are having enough of it.  This should serve as an example that groups much less prone to violent beliefs and actions can be brought to war with enough abuse.
