Gun Control by Administrative Action Planned for the USA

Since they couldn't get the gun bill through the U.S. Senate the administration is using any means it has available, legal or otherwise, to limit availability of ammunition, components, reloading equipment, and of course guns.

The expected approach is that the President will sign some executives orders to limit imported weapons, parts, and ammunition.  As a first part of this it appears there is a current effort to limit ammo manufacturing and reloading equipment manufactured in China.

Another report is that the Administration is planning to ban milsurp gun parts and ammunition from importation.

Here is a reminder of how it is done.  In 1989 so called NRA member Bush senior used a schoolyard shooting as a justification to ban imports of assault weapons.  He also dumped his NRA membership which was just to get votes anyway.  Note that he was beaten by Clinton in the next election since most gun owners and many Republicans saw him as worthless in protecting their gun rights.

In a reprise of the 1989 ban Clinton in 1997 went for another ban to include weapons that had been designed to bypass the previous restrictions imposed by Bush senior.
Note that Clinton lost the mid term elections with the help of the NRA.

The ban on imported ammo, gun parts, magazines, and guns is coming whether congress approves it or not.

My advice is buy the parts and magazines now for any imported weapons you have since the price will go crazy once this ban is in place.
