Terrorist Watch - Water Supply Threat

The water supply is vulnerable.  Why is that so?  Back in the 1970's we had similar fears and we hadn't even been attacked here.   Companies hired private security at a water treatment plant near Washington DC and they paid specifically to guard the treatment facilities and reservoir against Arab Terrorists.  Now we call it Islamic Extremism if anything at all.  Of course we have to pretend that we are worried about Skinheads, Christians, and End of World Types.  Everyone that has a brain knows where the risk originates but we can't say it and worse yet do anything about it.

The simple answer to preventing or reducing the risk is to seal the borders and stop allowing those that would attack us to freely travel to and live in our country among the citizenry.

Today we have a report of a bunch of foreign students with Chemical Engineering degrees trespassing on reservoir grounds late at night.

The red light should be flashing on this one.  First off, if they were so smart they would know that if found there at any hour their presence with their backgrounds and country of origination clearly make them suspects up to no good.  Second, any police that found them there should automatically know that all the red flags are there as well to include educational background, country of origin, and of course proximity to a recent terror attack in Boston.  They should all be on boats headed back home at this point.  I wouldn't even let them on an aircraft.

What do you do individually?  Get yourself on well water by either moving or putting in a backup water system.  I'd also put away a large supply of bottled water and get water filtration systems and distillation systems, though chemicals may not be easily removed from the water if they attempted that.  I am thinking mostly about biological risk.
